It is with deep sadness that we hear of the passing of Jimmy French, Life Member of the NSW AECG. His contribution, dedication and commitment to Aboriginal education and the NSW AECG will long be remembered. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
Jimmy’s funeral service will be held on Thursday 28th July at 11am in Moree.

Mil-Pra AECG are calling for artists to enter the 25th Annual Mil-Pra Art Exhibition 2016. Entries close on the 12 August 2016 with the exhibition running from the 17 September 2016 to 9 October 2016 at the Casula Powerhouse Art Centre. The network of Indigenous Education Consultative Bodies (IECBs), the peak bodies representing the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders across Australia on education and training, met in Sydney earlier this month and discussed the upcoming election in regards to Indigenous education policies put forward by the major political parties.
